Nice from the top of its hill

The breathtaking view of the Baie des Anges and the charm of an exceptional heritage: Nice conceals a treasure of elegance on the heights of Cimiez. And the Petit Palais Hotel brings together all the charms.

In the Belle Époque tradition of its surroundings, the hotel exudes a cheerfully cultivated art of living: from ancient arenas to exceptional museums, from magical panoramas to fragrant parks, the Petit Palais nestles on a hill to discover .

Relaxation in motion

The Petit Palais Hotel is a city destination that makes the lively heart of Nice immediately accessible at the foot of its hill.

The famous Promenade des Anglais sets the tone of the city: here it is good to stroll.

Between the Mediterranean and the mountains, the sunny atmosphere exudes the joy of living. From the seaside to the old town, on foot you can discover a picturesque center and a cosmopolitan atmosphere.

Nice is indeed much more than a city of relaxation: lively, festive with its Carnival in February, it also makes shopping enjoyable all year round, whether for international luxury or authentically local crafts.

And what can we say about its ancestral culinary culture: the typically Nice quality of life can be enjoyed on a lively bistro terrace with numerous starred restaurants.

Very involved in these multiple attractions, the teams at the Hôtel Petit Palais will be able to recommend the gems to discover in their constantly changing city.

Cimiez in particular

The particularity of the Hotel Petit Palais district is its location at the crossroads of eras. Staying at the hotel allows you to travel back in time in just a few steps: Gallo-Roman remains rub shoulders with a Franciscan monastery, Belle Époque palace and Modern Art museums.

This heritage, as prestigious as it is eclectic, allows you to be surprised from one street and one park to another.

In summer, the Nice Classic Live Festival at the Cimiez monastery opens its musical horizons to several styles, both classical and jazz, also escaping towards radically modern music.

In an environment of excellence, it is exactly this tireless curiosity that defines the soul of the Hôtel Petit Palais.

It is certainly no coincidence that the painter Matisse had set up his workshop in Cimiez. The liveliness and unique colors of the hill have inspired essential works for the History of Art.

In the process, Marc Chagall himself designed his own exhibition space in Cimiez to highlight his masterpieces. Matisse and Chagall museums are must-see cultural destinations just a few steps from the Hôtel Petit Palais.

But to get there, taking a few detours and getting lost in the neighborhood is also something you shouldn't miss.
